About Oshi Charts
What is Oshi Charts?
An unofficial data site that sums up what's trending in anime, games and VTubers using public data, updated every day.
We cover anime (data from AniList), games (Steam data, filled in with Wikidata), and VTuber stream schedules (data from Holodex).
Who runs it
Oshi Charts is run by Otohime Summer (a pen name). Contact: contact@oshicharts.com
Data and automation
Data collection, aggregation and the drafting of the text are automated with AI (Claude) and updated every day.
Ranking numbers are shown exactly as provided by each data source. The text is generated only from those numbers and checked automatically before publishing. If you spot an error, please let us know.
The Japanese synopses on the pages of current-season titles are short summaries written by AI (Claude) from the English description published on AniList. They are a short summary of the premise (one or two sentences), not a translation: no endings, and generally no character names. Each one passes automatic checks and a separate AI fact-check against the original before it is published; anything that fails is not shown. We do not store the English original; your browser loads it from AniList when you open the page. To report an error or ask for removal, contact contact@oshicharts.com.
Sources and rights
Data: AniList (https://anilist.co). Data on past titles: Anime Offline Database (https://github.com/manami-project/anime-offline-database, Open Data Commons Open Database License v1.0). This site is unofficial and not affiliated with AniList or with the rights holders of any title.
The information on past titles and the search data are adapted by this site from the Anime Offline Database. The adapted data is also available under the same ODbL v1.0 (attribution required).
Broadcast dates and stations of Japanese TV anime, episode subtitles, and the Japanese titles of some works are taken from the official API (db.php) of Syoboi Calendar (https://cal.syoboi.jp/) and compiled by this site. They are retrieved in a small number of requests, following that site’s rules (no HTML scraping, at most one request per second).
On each title page, the synopsis, cast, staff, trailer, official links and per-episode streaming links are loaded from AniList by your browser when you open the page (we do not store the original text). The English synopsis is shown exactly as published on AniList; the Japanese synopses are made separately, as described above. We do not reproduce per-episode synopses for rights reasons; we link to external sites instead.
Links to Wikipedia are built from the mapping between title IDs and article names in Wikidata (CC0). The text of Wikipedia articles is not copied.
Game concurrent-player counts and ranks come from Valve Corporation's official Steam Web API (no key required). Game names and release years are filled in from Wikidata (CC0), via its "Steam application ID" property. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation. "Steam" is a trademark of Valve Corporation.
The VTuber stream schedule is fetched once a day from Holodex's (https://holodex.net/) official API. We do not show subscriber counts, view counts or any other statistics, or a "live now" status (the underlying data is from YouTube, and YouTube's API Terms of Service prohibit creating new metrics derived from that data). This site is not affiliated with Hololive, Nijisanji or any other agency, YouTube, or Holodex.
Titles and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
About the artwork
Title artwork is loaded directly from the image URLs that AniList publishes. Game artwork is loaded directly from the image URLs published by Steam's CDN (Valve Corporation). VTuber channel images are loaded directly from YouTube channel image URLs obtained via Holodex. We do not store or redistribute copies of the images. Copyright of the images belongs to the respective rights holders.
For rights holders
If you would like an image or any content removed or corrected, please write to contact@oshicharts.com. We will review it and respond promptly.
Watch links and ads
The search links under "Where to watch" simply open each service’s search page and do not guarantee availability.
